Switch to exceptional performance The SureColor SC-R5010 and SC-R5010L are Epson’s first resin ink large-format printers, offering colour matching consistency, quick drying and scratch resistance. Printing on a wide range of substrates such as vinyl, banner, textile, canvas, wallpaper and film, it combines accuracy, media flexibility and reliability.

Maximise uptime, minimise maintenance The innovative ultrasonic detector reduces the risk of printhead failure, while the NVT (nozzle verification technology) automatically compensates should any nozzle become blocked. User replaceable printheads continue to maximise production time, as these can easily be replaced – with no special tools – within 60 minutes. Plus, the SCR5010L model includes a bulk-ink solution, supported by a ‘hot-swap’ function.

Improve productivity with efficient features With the SureColor SC-R5010(L) you can expand from printing traditional signage applications to a broad portfolio of banners, wallcoverings, vinyl, film and textiles. The Advanced Auto Tension Control ensures highly accurate media feeding, resulting in exceptional tiling. This consistent repeatability provides seamless results while also saving on material wastage and installation time. The printers’ efficient drying and curing process means users can laminate immediately with no gassing required. This enables sameday delivery and faster turnaround times.

Achieve high-quality results every time High image quality is achieved by three Epson print technologies – Halftoning, fully optimised LUT and Micro Weave – reducing graininess and banding. Fully controlled heating and curing technology, combined with the long-life PrecisionCore printhead, provide reliable colour consistency across the entire length of the print run. This avoids the need for reprints due to mismatched colours.

Stay in control Starting a printing job and monitoring progress is simple, thanks to a user-friendly 4.3-inch touch panel screen. The screen provides intuitive operation, and a signal lamp for easy status checks. Epson Production Monitor is one of the services offered on Epson Cloud Solution PORT, which is a cloud-based system, and enables the monitoring of equipment across several sites, or several printers on one site, to assist the control of production.

Diversify your portfolio Thanks to Epson’s UltraChrome RS ink, the SC-R5010 Series printers offer wide substrate support, making them the ideal choice for signage and pro-graphics printers, design agencies and wallpaper, canvas and photo production plants. The odourless water-based ink means printed applications can be used in sensitive environments such as schools, hospitals and hotels, as well as outdoor applications that require extreme durability.

Unlock the potential of resin ink printing Epson’s resin inks have an advanced ink chemistry. Ecofriendly and odourless, the water-based resin ink can be used on coated and uncoated substrates. Its quick-drying properties allow for instant lamination and has a high scratch resistance. The introduction of resin ink improves the performance of both typical and high-value print signage applications and results in a superior print quality.
